Adding Life to Your Years
The truth is, the death that opened the door to all that abundance wasn’t mine—it was His. His death is what made this life—the full life—possible.
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
And yet, somehow, we’ve managed to turn that promise into a burden.
A long list of rules. A moral tightrope. A heavy path of “trying to be good.”
Is the path easy?
Not always.
But it’s always easier than walking it without God.
Always better than stumbling through life as if you don’t belong to Him.
Do the rules make sense?
Not at first.
But over time, they make more sense than the world’s rules ever will.
They heal us, hold us, shape us into something more whole.
I believe Jesus offers something right here, right now:
Joy that doesn’t hinge on circumstances.
Peace that shows up in the chaos.
Hope that doesn’t expire.
Grace that keeps reaching.
An abundance that can be tasted long before we step into eternity.
But somewhere along the way, we started believing the lie that those things only come after we die.
As if peace, joy, healing, restoration, and love were only waiting for us on the other side.
The truth is, the death that opened the door to all that abundance wasn’t mine—it was His. His death is what made this life—the full life—possible.
Not someday. Not eventually. Now.
Yes, my death will take me into a new kind of life.
But today—this very moment—has the potential to be full.
And leaning into that life…
That’s what makes it more and more abundant.
